This album is a great slice of Os Mutantes showcasing everything that's beautiful about them. From the psychedelic to the more straight forward, the tracks echo greats like The Byrds, Jimi, The Hollies, The Beatles. The tracks have a distinctly Brazilian flare that would be readily felt even if the lyrics weren't heard. Don some striped pants and a paisley shirt, throw this on the record player, and groove to some great tunes.

My third time buying this landmark album (my CD, and then files keep getting lost, esp between computer changes) Wow, what an introduction to Brazilian Tropicalia, by the always eclectic David Byrne! At the time it came out (no internet, youtube etc, I had just started learning Brazilian music from some Brazilian friends, and this album absolutely cemented my lifelong love of this music.
